The LiMo Foundation invites you to experience the latest LiMo devices, operator services, toolkits and applications at Mobile World Congress 2010. You can see and experience these devices and applications at: LiMo Foundation stand in Hall 8, Booth B135 (see the map). Azingo will be demonstrating Azingo’s LiMo platform, Azingo Browser, Azingo Applications and Azingo Web Runtime with JIL widgets on TI Zoom 2 devices. Azingo will also show how the Azingo Web Studio (Web SDK) is configured to build JIL widgets.
A key element of the drive to bring developers and content to the LiMo platform is the BONDI initiative. Aplix is demonstrating its BONDI-compliant Web Runtime (WRT) and BONDI SDK. For the first time, this brings a powerful development experience for Web Application developers to the mobile platform, with integrated support for W3C and BONDI Widget development. The demonstration will show the Widget authoring, deployment to a LiMo handset and debugging of JavaScript code both on the desktop and the handset. A range of example widgets are shown, exercising a range of different BONDI capabilities, demonstrating how BONDI can be an effective platform for creation of a new generation of Web-based applications and services.
Telecom Italia leads Application Run Time domain working group in Limo and actively contributes in BONDI project; enabling Limo Foundation handsets with BONDI framework makes for easier development of services across devices. Telecom Italia is one of contributing companies to bondisdk open source project, backed by Limo Foundation, with the aim to provide a full BONDI SDK.
Telecom Italia will demonstrate how simple and effective is to develop a widget with BONDI SDK and how to run it on different phones. We also will demonstrate some BONDI widgets developed in our laboratories showing BONDI capabilities and APIs.
We are pleased to be attending MWC 2010, and will present a live demonstration of the first LiMo R2.1 Compliant SDK, including development of simple C/C++ applications for the LiMo Mobile GTK platform using a tailored Eclipse environment and GUI builder. Applications will be run, debugged, profiled and checked on a simulator and target device.
To demonstrate the capability of the LiMo platform, the demonstration will be done on high end hardware in a OMAP 3430 (ARM Cortex A8) based “lunchbox” device, with a 5 Megapixel camera, 3.5 inch OLED display, 16GB of internal memory, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and more.
This year Acrodea will demonstrate two different Themed UIs in the Game category to show an example of latest, advanced UI technology:
3D Game UI: 3D UI flicking, smooth transitions and rotating icons suited for Smartphones created by Acodea’s internal UX team.
RPG UI: RPG UI offered by Digimarce Inc. has been a popular UI among adult females between age 20-30 for the originality.
Both Themed UIs are examples of a single technology called - VIVID UI offered by Acrodea.

The ALM (advanced location mash-up Friend Finder Widget) is targeted at showcasing the following areas: End-to-End services, location based services, online communities, services mash-up. Founded on open source components this end to end service also leverages state-of-the-art web server technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Virtual Machines.
